MAKE A SHORT EXPLAINER VIDEO
Your Learners Will Love You for It!
National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a chance to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
Make a difference! Spread the word about mammograms and encourage communities, organizations, families, and individuals to get involved.
My clients love video, and I don’t blame. Videos in training are more engaging, more memorable, drive more traffic,
and hold almost every other advantage over text. Warning! Don’t overdo it, as I have mentioned in other posts,
let your goals determine the format.
Pipeline for Developing an Explainer Video
Motion graphics is one of the strongest tools in my instructional design toolkit. After more than a decade of animating videos,
I have come to realize that timing is what defines the animator. Timing in the sense of how elements sync to audio is perfection.
Mood Board:
Designing a mood board accomplishes two goals;
getting buy-in from the client, and capturing the
branded vision training materials will have.
Icon Set:
Developing many icons from
the mood board provides a library of assets
recyclable across other formats.
Animating:
Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, are my
core tools. Using Adobe suite allows me to
produce exceptionally creative videos.
How I Push creative boundaries with tools
Good animation ensures that each visual on the screen is relevant, well-timed, accurate, descriptive, and well transitioned from scene to scene.
I know no shortcut to animate, but I have provided links to a few valuable icon resources that can help you towards that end.
